What is crisis management?
Crisis management is training in strategies that can be implemented in the instance of a disruptive or unexpected event that causes harm to stakeholders such as aggression, property destruction, or elopement.
What is Safety-Care®?
Safety-Care® Crisis Prevention Training provides the skills and competencies necessary to effectively prevent, minimize, and manage behavioral challenges with dignity, safety, and the possibility of change. Safety-Care delivers the tools you need to be safe when working with behaviorally challenging individuals using up-to-date and effective technologies from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS). Safety-Care for Families is a training program specifically designed for family members and other stakeholders working with behaviorally challenging individuals in a home or home-like setting.
Where does training take place?
Crisis management training can be conducted virtually, or in-home. Marigold does not currently have a physical location, but offers services in the Fayetteville, AR and surrounding areas in NWA. For the Safety-care for families course, some sections must be taught in person in your home.
How long does Safety-Care® training take?
If we decide Safety-Care training is an appropriate fit for your family, the full curriculum for Safety-care for Families is 5 hours.
General Safety-Care training can be up to 12 hours depending on the level of training needed, and the amount of participants.
How much do services cost?
Services for individuals without an autism diagnosis are private pay and billed at an hourly rate. A sliding scale based on income is used to determine rate and available at the bottom of the page.
